Abstract

The paper discusses how much we should be concerned about the ethical use of biometric data. After highlighting the technical aspects of biometrics protection, it examines the main legal concerns related to the misuse of biometric data. Finally, it recommends a sequence of steps so that the use of this data occurs safely.
