Abstract

The increasing availability of mobile devices with sensing and connectivity capabilities enables the creation of different types of applications for smart cities. In this context, this paper highlights the potential of mobile networks in the healthcare sector to provide more efficient management of medical resources and personalized and effective patient treatments.
