Women in Information Technology (WIT) celebrated its 20th edition in 2026 in Gramado (RS), having established itself as the largest national event dedicated to gender diversity in computing. This article briefly reviews its history and presents the main highlights of this edition, which featured scientific presentations, lectures, panels, participation from the private sector, and initiatives by the Meninas Digitais Forum. Among the milestones of 2026 were the launch of the Meninas Digitais Observatory, the restructuring of the Meninas Digitais Program’s Steering Committee, the strengthening of participation by Partner Projects, and strategies for interaction and gamification. Data from the event and the Observatory illustrate the scale this community has achieved and the challenges ahead for WIT’s third decade.
