Abstract

This article analyzes the role of digital governance in tackling climate change, with an emphasis on digital inclusion and environmental protection. Through a case study of the SemFogo-DF project, developed in the Federal District, the article discusses how digital technologies—including artificial intelligence, computer vision, and georeferencing—can be applied to environmental risk management, particularly forest fires in the Cerrado biome. The article highlights the positive impacts of the articulation between citizen participation, technological innovation, and public policies oriented toward climate sustainability.
