This paper discusses current challenges regarding teaching and learning methods in Computer Science education in Brazil. Based on the contributions of the chapter “Teaching/Learning Methods and Techniques” published in Grandes Desafios da Educação em Computação 2025–2035, and on the recommendations presented in the Executive Summary, the text examines scenarios, trends and pedagogical innovation strategies. It highlights the adoption of active learning methodologies, hybrid learning ecosystems, soft skills integration, and continuous assessment approaches aiming at responsible and holistic professional training.
