With the changes observable in the world, particularly driven by the field of Information Technology, new methodologies are being developed to facilitate student learning, improve the quality of education, and increase student satisfaction. This paper presents a methodology using an experimental mentoring platform called the Collaborative Learning Support Platform (PAAC) to encourage discussion and practice of exploratory activities aimed at helping students learn programming logic and computer architecture. We invited first-year students from Computer Science and Engineering courses to participate in a week-long Hackathon, engaging in collaborative practices in programming logic and Arduino. The experience yielded some favorable results in the students' knowledge formation process and socialization, which may suggest expansion and improvements based on participant feedback, as well as encouraging similar projects in academic and school environments.
