Empreendendo Futuro Program: a proposal for entrepreneurial training for the youth of Foz do Iguaçu

This article presents an analysis of the Empreendendo Futuro Project, an innovative educational initiative implemented in Foz do Iguaçu (PR), aimed at developing young protagonists through entrepreneurial education and the valorization of local territories. The proposal combines active learning methodologies, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and inter-institutional partnerships (Itaipu Parquetec, the Regional Education Center/NRE, SEBRAE, and other local stakeholders), fostering a collaborative ecosystem that connects schools, communities, and institutions in support of sustainable development. Through workshops, mentoring, and practical projects, the program encourages creativity, citizenship, and the development of solutions to real problems faced by students in their local contexts. Based on a qualitative and place-based approach, the study highlights the outcomes achieved and points to future prospects for consolidating and expanding the initiative across different educational settings.
