Abstract

This experience report describes the actions developed by tecnoPARQ Social, an initiative of the Viçosa Science and Technology Park (tecnoPARQ/UFV) that promotes sustainable regional development through education, innovation, and interinstitutional collaboration. Using a qualitative approach and analyzing quantitative data collected between 2021 and 2025, the report highlights the social impacts generated through partnerships with institutions such as SENAC, SENAR, public schools, and municipal agencies. A total of 12 technical courses and various qualification programs were offered, resulting in 599 enrollments focused on productive inclusion and employability of vulnerable youth and adults. The results demonstrate the program’s ability to connect academic knowledge with social demands, contributing to the construction of a more inclusive and resilient innovation ecosystem. Grounded in the Triple, Quadruple, and Quintuple Helix models, tecnoPARQ Social is consolidated as an innovative strategy for territorial transformation, reaffirming the social role of universities and science parks in addressing inequalities and generating shared value.
