Abstract

This study analyzes the scientific production on innovation ecosystems and creative economy in Brazil through a bibliometric approach using the Scopus and Web of Science databases, covering the period from 2010 to 2025. The results reveal a significant structural asymmetry: while the international literature shows continuous and accelerated growth, Brazilian production remains residual, scattered, and lacking consolidated research networks. The geographical distribution reinforces a center-periphery logic, with predominance of developed countries and Asian emerging economies at the global knowledge frontier. The TF-IDF keyword analysis reveals an international convergence between innovation, culture, and territory, whereas the Brazilian subset exhibits conceptual fragmentation and limited integration with global agendas. It is concluded that Brazil lacks greater scientific internationalization and policies that systematically articulate institutional innovation and creative economy.
