Abstract

This paper presents the main contributions arising from debates held during Computec: Computing and Industry Seminar, a base event of the 46th Congress of the Brazilian Computer Society, held in Gramado, Brazil. Three sessions of the event – the “Coffee with Innovation”, the panel “Responsible Innovation and Technological Competitiveness,” and the round table “Industry Track at SBC Events” – addressed proposals and challenges fostering closer ties between universities, industry, government, and society.
