An Exploratory Study on the Factors Determining to the Adoption of SIG-UFRN Software Ecosystem

UFRN Management Systems ecosystem is a platform used by a considerable number of Federal Education Institutions (IFE). In this context, there are several scenarios for adopting this technology that include factors to be identified to clarify which reasons lead to successful adoption, which, if not observed, could harm the activities of these IFE. The objective of this research, from a master’s thesis, is to identify these factors. This research was developed in three stages: the first stage is the Systematic Literature Review, the second the application of semi-structured interviews, and the third the application of two Grounded Theory coding techniques. As a result, we obtained a theoretical scheme that expresses these factors.
