Nudges como meio para fomentar a Autorregulação no uso de Redes Sociais: Implicações Iniciais de um Experimento

Abstract

Considerando que, cada vez mais, os jovens têm sido mais propensos a utilizar as redes sociais em excesso, é necessária a proposição de soluções que apoiem o uso equilibrado de tais ferramentas. A arquitetura de escolha consiste em intervenções, conhecidas como nudges, para influenciar o comportamento das pessoas e suas decisões. De modo a apoiar o processo de autorregulação dos indivíduos, este trabalho apresenta um experimento no qual, a partir de uma amostra com 257 participantes, foi avaliada a influência de dois nudges, baseados em normas sociais e enquadramento, na decisão de sair de aplicativos de redes sociais online. Através de regressão logística, os resultados indicaram que houve influência das normas sociais na decisão de sair. O enquadramento, no entanto, não apresentou efeitos significativos. Foi proposto, também, um protótipo de aplicativo como background para uso dos nudges.
