Indexing and Stats
Since its first Volume in 2010, the Journal on Interactive Systems (2763-7719), JIS, has published more than 300 papers covering different theoretical, technical, and methodological issues in Interactive Systems. JIS follows CrossRef patterns, providing a DOI number for each article and linking authors' identities to their ORCID accounts. Our editorial and review board is compromised to give quality and timely responses to authors.
INDEXING
JIS assigns DOI to every paper according to CrossRef patterns. Currently, the journal is indexed by relevant and rigorous databases and indexes, such as Scopus, DOAJ, and DBLP.
DBLP: the computer science bibliography database has included JIS among its indexed journals. Papers published after 2021 are already available at DBLP.
DOAJ: the gold standard for open access publishing committed to ensuring quality content is freely available online for everyone. As soon as the DOI is deposited, the paper is indexed on DOAJ.
OpenAlex: the open and free global index of scholarly journals counts citations received by papers published by JIS since 2021 when the journal's name was changed to Journal on Interactive Systems. Records before this period are also available. This index counts citations by CrossRef registered papers only.
Scopus: the leading scientific database has included JIS among the covered databases. Papers published since 2020 are already available on Scopus.
Other indexing Libraries:
EZB: the Electronic Journals Library is a service to facilitate the use of scholarly journals on the internet, offering a structured and unified interface to access full-text articles online.
LatIndex: a platform dedicated to gathering and disseminating information on scientific journals produced in the Latin American region and integrating those that disseminate Ibero-American studies worldwide.
Miguilim, Diadorim, and Oasis are initiatives maintained by the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (Ibict). Miguilim classifies JIS as a Diamond open-access journal; Diadorim assigns JIS the Green color as it allows storing and accessing pre- and post-print versions of its published papers; and Oasis collects and offers access to JIS scientific publications.
UC Library Search: an index that lists periodicals and journals by title, providing information on the publisher, indexing, and subjects.
ZDB: the German Union Catalogue of Serials is one of the world's largest databases for journals and other serial publications from all countries, in all languages, without time restrictions, in printed, electronic digitized form.
