Abstract

The actual lack of investment in public services and infrastructure causes a mobility problem in large urban centers. This paper proposes a dynamic pricing method that promotes the better allocation of parking spots and mitigation of traffic congestion in cities. The proposed module, implemented in a Multi-Agent System created with the JaCaMo framework, and using the Java language, aims to dynamically change the prices of vacancies by observing some characteristics of the environment. The performed simulations show that the use of the dynamic pricing module increases the average occupation and maintains the total gain of the parking lot.
