Investigando o Uso do Storytelling como Abordagem Educacional: Mapeamento Sistemático da Literatura

Abstract

A contação de histórias é uma parte significativa de todas as culturas, atraindo pessoas independentemente da idade, e nas últimas décadas isso também tem sido utilizado no contexto educacional. Storytelling é a técnica de contar uma história, estruturada em elementos para estimular emoções e gerar engajamento. Utilizar storytelling como forma de ensino é uma estratégia poderosa para explicar assuntos complexos e quando a informação é compartilhada de forma interessante, as pessoas podem ficar mais engajadas e prestar mais atenção ao que está sendo dito. Apesar da importância do storytelling no contexto educacional, os alunos e professores têm dificuldades no processo de criação de histórias. Neste artigo, utilizando um estudo de mapeamento sistemático da literatura, analisamos estudos que utilizaram storytelling para verificar como essa técnica vem sendo aplicada no contexto educacional. Foram encontrados 329 estudos, dos quais apenas 17 satisfizeram os critérios de avaliação. Os resultados apontaram vários benefícios no uso dessa técnica no contexto educacional, destacando o trabalho em equipe, engajamento, motivação e pensamento crítico. Destaca-se ainda que essa técnica tem sido aplicada em diferentes cursos e disciplinas, níveis e modalidades de ensino, além de outras descobertas interessantes.
