Indexing and stats

CrossRef: RBIE assigns DOI to every paper according to CrossRef patterns.

DBLP: the computer science bibliography database has included JIS among its indexed journals. Papers published after 2021 are already available at DBLP.

Miguilim and Diadorim are initiatives maintained by the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (Ibict). Miguilim classifies RBIE as a Diamond open-access journal; and Diadorim assigns RBIE the Green color as it allows storing and accessing pre- and post-print versions of its published papers.

LatIndex: a platform dedicated to gathering and disseminating information on scientific journals produced in the Latin America region, also integrating those that disseminate Ibero-American studies in the world.

OpenAlex: the open and free global index of scholarly journals counts citations received by papers published by RBIE. This index counts citations by CrossRef registered papers only.

UC Library Search: an index that lists periodicals and journals by title, providing information on the publisher, indexing, and subjects. 

H-Index

In 2024, Google Scholar assigned the H5 index = 15 to RBIE. This index refers to the h-index of articles published between 2019 and 2023.
